A splendid doubled fronted Victorian house in Stroud Green has been refurbished, remodelled, extended upwards and outwards to the rear on three levels with a new kitchen / dining space to create a bright, spacious and flexible home for a growing family.

At the lower ground floor level, the property has been extended outboard to the rear to create a new kitchen / dining space with level access to the the patio and garden via glazed sliding doors along the full width to the garden.

On the ground floor a further garden room has been created with an adjacent roof terrace benefiting from the southerly aspect. Three bedrooms occupy the first floor with a master suite to the front and a bathroom in the extension to the rear. A new second floor level has been formed in the roof space with an additional terrace accessed from a rear dormer with a full height glazed sliding doors. The terrace benefits from a panoramic view of the city from Canary Wharf, through the City and onto the West End.

Internally all floor finishes are in an engineered oak with a herringbone pattern to the ground floor reception rooms. The kitchen, dining and external patio are finished in polished concrete. Birch faced plywood is used in the kitchen to soften the palette with polished concrete for the counter tops. A neutral approach is adopted in the bathrooms with accent flooring tiles to each bathroom. Externally the new extensions are built in reclaimed London stock brickwork. The glazed screens have bronze anodized frames deep-set into the elevations with anodized bronze aluminium soffits and cills. Structurally glazed rooflights have been added to allow light into the middle of the house, these sit within a sedum grass roof. The dormer to the attic is finished in a bronze zinc.
