Martyn Clarke Architects - MCA is committed to high quality contemporary design, specialising principally in bespoke residential projects, both new build and refurbishment, delivered with the highest level of service. Other sectors such as multiple unit residential, bespoke retail and hotel are also covered.
The design focus places emphasis on the relationship between the building and its surroundings, a considered material palette and quality of light.
Martyn established the practice in 2003.
The practice has an excellent understanding of local planning procedures. Most projects, by their nature, are in conservation areas and some are listed buildings, where planning requirements can be onerous. MCA navigates through the planning process to take the stress out of statutory regulations and planning permission.
Their approach is intimate and responsive to clients. MCA work closely with clients to understand their needs and use their expertise to deliver creative and practical solutions. All projects are actively managed from inception to completion and handing over of the finished building or space.
Martyn has over 30 years of architectural experience and is a Chartered Member of the RIBA, graduating from Manchester Polytechnic in 1985.
