Crouch Hill

On purchasing a property at the crest of a hill in North London it was disappointing for the client to find that the view out from the top of the existing house over the city and beyond was poor. However, with a careful reconfiguring/enlargement of the original dormer, which involved pushing it outwards by approx. 300mm and returning the glazing back to its original position, we were able to create the view.

A whole width extension at ground floor level opened up the kitchen/diner to the newly landscaped garden. The garden is finished in a silver-grey granite with raised flower beds, and an elevated hardwood sun deck and fire pit to the rear. All new fencing to the garden is made from standard roofing batten which is intended to act as a framework for all things green to grow on.
